2019 Chevrolet Silverado Pricing Starts At $29,795

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is larger and lighter than its predecessor and the company has announced the all-new truck will be priced from $29,795.

Set to on sale later this year, the entry-level Silverado 1500 Work Truck will be available in three different configurations: regular cab long bed ($29,795), double cab standard bed ($33,695) and crew cab short bed ($36,095). The model comes standard with a 4.3-liter V6 engine that develops 285 hp (212 kW / 280 PS) and 305 lb-ft (413 Nm) of torque. A 5.3-liter V8 engine is also available and it produces 355 hp (264 kW / 360 PS) and 383 lb-ft (518 Nm) of torque.

Buyers looking for something less basic can order the Silverado Custom which starts at $36,095 for the double cab and $38,495 for the crew cab variant. Customers can also order the off-road focused Silverado Custom Trail Boss which starts at $40,995 and comes standard with four-wheel drive. Regardless of which model is selected, powertrain options carryover from the Silverado WT.

The mid-level Silverado LT starts at $38,395 and climbs to $40,795 for the crew cab variant. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine which develops 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS) and 348 lb-ft (471 Nm) of torque. Customers can also order the aforementioned 5.3-liter V8 but it is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission instead of the six-speed unit used on the WT and Custom variants. Buyers will also have the option of ordering the new 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel engine.

Sitting one notch above the LT is the Silverado RST which features a “street-performance appearance.” Engine options echo the LT and pricing starts at $40,295 for the double cab and $42,695 for the crew cab.

The Silverado LT Trail Boss comes equipped with an assortment of off-road features including a two-inch suspension lift, a locking rear differential, skid plates and a standard four-wheel drive system. The truck also has Rancho shocks and 18-inch alloy wheels with Goodyear Duratrac off-road tires. The model is available exclusively with a 5.3-liter V8 engine and pricing starts at $47,395 and $49,795.

The luxury-oriented Silverado LTZ is priced from $44,495 and it is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine. Customers can also order the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel as well as a 6.2-liter V8 developing 420 hp (313 kW / 425 PS) and 460 lb-ft (622 Nm) of torque.

Lastly, the range-topping Silverado High Country is available exclusively in a crew cab configuration. The model starts at $54,495 and comes standard with the 6.2-liter V8 engine. The 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel will also be available as an option.

Chevrolet hasn’t released detailed information about the various trim levels but the all-new truck is “larger than the outgoing model in virtually every dimension” and this results in a more spacious interior with three inches of additional rear seat legroom in crew cab variants. Despite the increased size, the truck weighs up to 450 pounds (204 kg) less than its predecessor as it features a number of aluminum components including the hood, doors and tailgate.
