While Lexus quietly axed the slow-selling HS 250h from its North American lineup in early 2012, only two and-a-half years after launch, it continues to offer the executive compact sedan in its home market of Japan.

In fact, Lexus has released a revised version of the hybrid model that brings its styling more in line with the rest of the cars in its range.

The first thing you will notice about the 2013 HS 250h is the application of Lexus’ new trademark ‘spindle’ grill that extends all the way down to the redesigned bumper that gains new air vents and LED lights.

The revamped headlamps, newly styled LED taillights and a fresh assortment of alloy wheel designs, complete the exterior makeover.

Inside, Lexus had added more quality materials and trims, while also making changes to the instrument panel and the controls on the center console.

For the new model year, the facelift HS 250h continues with the same hybrid powertrain that includes a 147HP 2.4-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine and a 40HP electric motor, which generate a combined output of 187hp.
