We’ve seen Climbkhana, Terrakhana, even Boobkhana – not to mention ten episodes of Ken Block‘s famous Gykhana series. And now we present you with another: Yardkhana.
This latest video was shot out back in the tight confines of the loading dock behind the Hoonigan garage in Southern California, featuring the one and only Gymkhana master. And he brought with him his 650-horsepower Fiesta along with him.
Called the RX43, it’s the same car that Block drove in the Gymkhana Eight and Terrakhana videos – not to mention countless rallycross events. It’s a little worse for the wear, as you can see – not only from all the hooning it’s been up to over the past few years, but because it’s been shipped around the world.
And as Ken himself explains, there isn’t always time to repair cosmetic damage before the next event. So it’s typically patched up and made road- (or race-) worthy and put back into action.
Damaged or not, it’s still one heck of a beast. But it is enough to make Block king of his own back yard? Well you’ll just have to watch the video to find out for yourself.
But if you don’t have the time (or patience) to watch the full half-hour segment, you can skip the preamble and delve right into the action that really only gets started after the 18:30 mark. So set aside the time, go full-screen, and maybe put in some ear plugs. Or at least turn down the speakers a bit, because it gets loud. Very loud.
