The countdown for the grand opening of the 2012 edition of the annual automotive aftermarket extravaganza known as the SEMA Show has begun. In less than a week’s time, the Las Vegas Convention Center will open its doors to thousands of tuned and custom concept and production cars.

Besides its own products, Toyo Tires plans to host four specially customized cars at its booth, including two proposals from Japan’s Wald International that are making their debut on U.S. soil.

The Wald-prepped cars are the Black Bison Mercedes Benz G-Wagon finished in a matte purple shade and fitted with a wide-body kit and huge 24-inch wheels shod in 295/30ZR24 Toyo Proxes ST II tires, and the Scion FR-S / Toyota GT 86 that comes with an assortment of aero parts and 18-inch rims wrapped around 245/35ZR18 Toyo Proxes T1-Sport rubber.

Joining these two models is a high-riding Ford F-150 Raptor sports truck built by Custom Truck HQ and a Liberty Walk-modified Lamborghini Murcielago LP620 boasting all sorts of enhancements.

Toyo Tires said that SEMA Show attendees will also have the opportunity to meet numerous sports celebrities at its booth, including UFC Hall of Famer and Multi-Champion Randy Couture and Team Toyo Off-Road Racer Jeremy McGrath.
