While the BRZ Motorsport Project Car that we told you about earlier today was made purely for racing purposes, Subaru’s second BRZ to be displayed at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show (AIMS) in Sydney is a street-legal model fitted with a concept sports kit from STI.
The rear-wheel drive coupe features a new range of Subaru Tecnica International (STI) performance parts and accessories, including spoilers and suspension upgrades, and which the company says will soon be available for order.
Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia, commented: “All indications are that many BRZ buyers want to add some performance touches to their cars and choosing genuine Subaru equipment offers great design, quality and peace-of-mind that aren’t necessarily guaranteed by after-market suppliers.”
Below you will find a list with the components that will be offered to Australian owners of the BRZ:
- Front under spoiler
- Side under spoiler
- Boot lip spoiler
- Flexible tower bar
- Wheel nut set – black
- 17-inch alloy wheel
- Coil spring set
- Quick shift gear lever
- Sports muffler
- Gear shift knob
- Push start switch
- Rear under diffuser
- Instrument panel trim
