Named after the French character with the distinctively long nose in Edmond Rostand’s play Cyrano de Bergerac, the Cyrano is a tuning package for the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Turbo S models from Hamann Motorsport.

The engine upgrades, which among other things, include a custom exhaust system and an ECU optimization, are common for both the 493hp (500PS) Panamero Turbo and its 543hp (550PS) Turbo S sibling with output increased to 595hp (603PS) and peak torque to 870Nm (642 lb-ft).

Hamann claims a new 0-100km/h (62mph) time of 3.9 seconds and 0-200km/h (124mph) time of 12.6 seconds, while with the Sport Chrono Package activated, acceleration numbers fall to 3.6 seconds and 12.4 seconds respectively. Top speed is also improved to 315km/h (196mph).

The Panamera Cyrano features a lowering module for the air suspension that drops the ride height by as much as 30 mm (1.2 inches), while the sports saloon rolls on new 22-inch rims fitted with tires size 265/30 ZR 22 front and 305/25 ZR 22 rear.

For style, Hamann developed a flashy body kit with a new front bumper incorporating LED lights, a carbon fiber hood with air scoops, front and rear fender extensions with matching side skirts, a rear bumper that makes room for the massive dual-pipe sports exhaust with center exit, and a large rear wing.

Inside, Hamann tells (but doesn’t show) us that the Cyrano is upgraded with new leather upholstery, an aluminum pedal system and bespoke trim.

Pricing for the Panamera Cyrano package will be announced when it goes on sale later in the year.
