Audi’s Q7 and SQ7 TDI Vorsprung Edition models are now available to order in the UK from £77,905, while a new Black Edition spec also joins the range, priced from £64,405.
With the Vorsprung spec, Audi is giving buyers the highest level of standard equipment ever offered on a Q7. You can purchase it either with the 272 PS 3.0-liter TDI V6 unit, or you could go for the 435 PS SQ7 model, powered by a V8 TDI.
The Black Edition option is available exclusively in conjunction with the 272 PS 3.0-liter TDI, and is positioned above the previous range-topping S line spec.
With the Black Edition, buyers get larger 21″ wheels and a black styling pack that extends all the way to the radiator grille frame, profile trim strip, front bumper styling accents and door mirrors. Inside, there are black inlays and Valcona leather upholstery, to go with the ambient lighting pack and the full-length panoramic sunroof.
Another gain for the Black Edition is the adaptive air suspension sport system, which is a first for Audi’s Q7 range in the UK. It lowers the body by 15 mm (0.6 in) and continually adjusts the damping while on the move.
As for the new Vorsprung Edition, these cars get 22″ Audi Sport wheels, complemented by the black styling pack. Other features include the sport seats with memory functionality and diamond contrast stitching for the Valcona leather upholstery, the extended leather pack, heated second-row seats, Alcantara headlining, wireless charging for Qi-enabled mobile phones, head-up display and the 3D Bose surround sound system.
On the road, the Q7 Vorsprung edition benefits from having the Driver Assistance Tour Pack, which means level 2 autonomy is achieved with the help of adaptive cruise control, active lane assist and traffic jam assist. The Parking Assistance Pack is also available to provide stress free maneuvering in and out of parking spots.
Pricing for the Black Edition models starts at £64,405 OTR, while the Q7 Vorsprung and SQ7 TDI Vorsprung cost £77,905 OTR and £88,295 OTR respectively.
