The creative folks at Jaguar are gearing up their marketing hype on the British firm’s new F-Type roadster with the release of two new videos.
In the first clip named ‘Future’, Jaguar’s Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark, describes his vision for the car while in the second video dubbed ‘Fearless’, Jaguar’s Design Director, Ian Callum, shares his thoughts about the roadster’s design and performance credentials.
The British automaker says that the F-Type is “the first two-seater sports car to be launched by Jaguar for over 50 years, since its predecessor, the iconic E-Type,” though we assume the company meant to say “the first mainstream two-seater sports car” as in the 1990s they had the XJ220 and XJR15.
Previewed by last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show C-X16 Coupe Concept study, the F-Type was officially announced the 2012 New York Auto Show through a series of pictures of a camouflaged prototype.
The F-Type will enter production in the second quarter of 2013 offering buyers a choice of two supercharged engines, a 3.0-liter V6 with 375hp and a 5.0-liter V8 delivering more than 500 horses.
In addition to the official videos, we’ve also added a handful of clips from the F-Type’s appearance at last weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
