The Clio is…out of the bag as following the release of a single image on one of Renault’s consumer websites (which has since been removed), a new batch of photos has hit the web today.

Besides getting an all-around view of the Clio Mk4’s exterior, we also have the first ever picture of the French supermini’s interior.

The new Clio’s cabin looks more premium and is distinguished by its chic styling and interesting details such as a pair of deeply set instrument panel gauges and a large screen for the infotaintment and navigation system on the center console, which may or may not be standard on all models.

The ‘Le Moniteur Automobile’ website that posted these images says that Renault’s Ford Fiesta and Fiat Punto rival will be available with several engines.

These include a new 0.9-liter three-cylinder turbocharged Energy TCe petrol delivering 89hp (90PS) and 135Nm (100 lb-ft) of peak torque with an average fuel consumption of 4.3lt/100km (54.7 mpg US or 65.7 mpg UK) and CO2 emissions of just 99g/km.

There’s also a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel (Energy dCi 90) with 89hp (90PS), which is good for a combined fuel consumption of just 3.2lt/100km (73.5 mpg US or 88.3 mpg UK).

Transmission options are said to include a dual-clutch automated gearbox and six-speed EDC.

We expect official details and images on the new Clio to be released later today.
