Even when they’re not too busy losing control of their own cars, some Ford Mustang drivers can still suffer at the hands of others looking to show off.
To be fair, the person behind the wheel of that red Mustang did nothing wrong (that we know of), but as you can see, it’s almost impossible not to comment on how often certain Mustang drivers tend to get in trouble.
This time, it was someone else who was at fault, but what were the odds of that old Dodge Daytona crashing into anything else other than a Mustang? Seriously, it’s a good thing we believe in coincidence.
The crash occurred two weeks ago in Erie, Pennsylvania, and the guy driving the Daytona clearly felt the need to show off for the person who was filming him. That’s when they tried to put those beefy rear tires to work and the rest is history.
Going by what we can hear, it seems that the driver lifted off the second he realized his rear end had gone sideways, which in turn caused lift-off oversteer, also known as snap-oversteer (for good reason).
From where we’re standing, the fact that these types of accidents keep happening is pretty ridiculous. You’d think that these people have access to YouTube and are aware of other like-minded individuals crashing their cars while attempting to show off.
