Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise is famous for wanting to perform as many stunts as possible on his own. So, here’s your chance to watch all the extremely dangerous scenes he actually starred in without relying on a stuntman in his new Mission: Impossible – Fallout movie.

“Fallout” is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on July 27, starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Alec Baldwin as Alan Hunley, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust and Henry Cavill as August Walker, who reportedly steals the show, according to people who have already seen the movie before release.

Yet, the only actor who really put his life on the line here is Cruise, known for having performed multiple death-defying stunts, such as climbing the Burj Khalifa in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, or hanging onto the side of a plane as it was taking off in Rogue Nation.

For M:I – Fallout, Cruise reportedly performed five major stunts. He climbs a cable in mid-air during a helicopter scene, he performs a downward spiral in an actual helicopter, he jumps off the roof of a building (breaking his foot), performs a HALO (High Altitude – Low Opening) jump -the first actor to ever do so – and rides a motorbike against traffic around the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

On that last one, while we can see him doing it, it’s possible the stunt team relied on some tricky camera work so as to make it look as dangerous as possible. They probably assigned him a clear corridor between incoming traffic (still quite dangerous), and then performed the slalom. So, if you think Trinity’s stunt in Matrix: Reloaded, when she was weaving through oncoming traffic on a Ducati during that famous highway chase scene, was a fabulous action scene, you’ll enjoy the way Cruise cuts a dash on his BMW.

Still, hanging out of that Airbus at an altitude of 1,500 feet on the previous M:I movie, even if he was tethered to the plane, probably is his riskier stunt ever.
