To celebrate its partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures on the upcoming blockbuster film, “The Dark Knight Rises”, which will conclude Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Chrysler has released a 30-second, co-branded television spot entitled “Imported from Gotham City”.

While there’s no Batman to be seen in the commercial, the TV spot was designed and filmed to look and feel as if it could be inside Gotham City.

The spot shows a 2012 Chrysler 300S in a dark but modern industrial laboratory as it is being transformed into a custom-designed Chrysler 300 “Dark Knight Rises” edition.

The Detroit carmaker did not disclose if it has any plans to launch such an edition onto the market or if it’s just part of the storyline.

As previously reported, Chrysler is also running a special online competition with the producers of “The Dark Knight Rises”, in which participants are called to create an original co-branded TV spot.
