Just like the auto industry but on a more frequent basis, the software biz regularly polishes up its products to keep them up to date.
By now, you should know that we are not big fans of change just for the sake of change, but for changes that bring meaningful improvements.
On that note, following last year’s adoption of the Disqus commenting system, we have now updated to the overhauled 2012 platform that was officially released on June 13.
Leaving aside the styling tweaks, the 2012 Disqus brings several improvements including real time voting updates with dislikes (you can’t like everything you read, can you?), refined and added new features such as the sorting options and much more.
The team over at Disqus has prepared two videos to guide you through all the changes in more detail and which you can watch after the break.
As always, if you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve the experience and get you more actively engaged in commenting, leave us a note below.
