You all remember how the crew from the Fast and Furious franchise did those ridiculous heists on the highway, right?
A gang from Romania tried to pull off something very similar by driving what looks like an SUV very closely behind a truck on the highway at night (hence the quality of the video).
Once they were close enough to the lorry, two of the wannabe thieves climb out of the vehicle’s sunroof in attempt to open the doors and steal whatever it was transporting.
The problem for the Fast & Furious-style bandits is that not only did they not succeed but also a police chopper from Romania’s Department for Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) filmed them during the attempt.
According to reports, this is not the first time that this Romanian gang has used this method, which is why DIICOT was on their tail.
