Want to get your hands on a Pagani Huayra BC? Too bad, because we’re afraid they all sold out some time ago. And with only 20 examples made, finding one on the second-hand market will be a rare prospect, at best. But that’s just what we have here – and it’s right here in America, no less.
Listed for sale by Pagani’s dealership in Newport Beach, California, is the second of those twenty examples of the Huayra BC made. And it can be yours, if you have the scratch.
Named for one of Pagani’s best customers, the BC version of the Huayra was unveiled over two years ago at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. It’s built atop the same building blocks as the original Huayra, but hunkered down and muscled up to an even further extreme.
Instead of 720 horsepower (537 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque, its 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 (sourced from Mercedes-AMG) was tuned to produce 745 hp (555 kW) and 810 lb-ft (1,100 Nm). And instead of 2,980 pounds (1,350 kg), its dry weight was trimmed down to just 2,685 lbs (1,218 kg) – 291 lbs (132 kg) less than the “standard” version. The suspension and aero package were further enhanced as well, all adding up to an altogether more focused hypercar of the highest order.
Decked out in blue carbon with Tricolore details and a black and grey leather interior, this example has 2,133 miles on the clock. So it’s been driven, we’re glad to report, but hardly driven into the ground, by any stretch.
Pagani Newport Beach hasn’t disclosed how much it’s asking for this exceedingly desirable and rare specimen. But if there’s ever been a case of “if you have to ask,” surely this is it. If you miss out on this one, though, the dealer has another Huayra – called the Lampo edition, decked out in white and orange – listed for sale as well.
