America’s best-selling pickup truck has been refined for the 2013 model year. Revealed in Texas on Monday, the venerable F-150 receives some mild cosmetic tweaks along with new optional and standard features.
On the outside, the 2013 F-150 models sport new grilles that bring them more in line with the latest Super Duty, while the options list is enhanced with HID projector headlamps and newly styled 18- and 20-inch wheels.
In addition, select models will be available with power-telescoping and power-folding trailer-tow sideview mirrors. The 2013 pickup trucks are available in three new colors including Blue Jeans Metallic, Kodiak Brown Metallic and Ruby Red Clearcoat Metallic.
There’s a range of interior updates, the most important of which is the new 4.2-inch multifunction display and MyFord Touch interfaces
Ford said that its latest SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system with 911 Assist and Vehicle Health Report will be standard equipment in XLT series and above.
The F-150’s powertrains are carried over from last year and include a 302hp 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V6, a 360hp 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8, a 411hp 6.2-liter V8 and the 365hp 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6.
