They weren’t your usual car buyers and it wasn’t your usual dinner event. We are talking about the special banquet “Dine on the line” organized by Rolls Royce Motor Cars at the luxury brand’s factory in Goodwood, England.

More than 100 select customers were invited to the unique event, all of which arrived at the Home of Rolls-Royce in chauffeured Rolls-Royce Phantom limos or by helicopter, where they were greeted by members of the management team and hosted on a red carpet stroll through the production area.

For the first time in the history of Rolls Royce, the assembly line was transformed into a unique dining room, with guests wined, dined and entertained in the same place where every Rolls-Royce motor car is hand-built.

“The occasion provided the opportunity to introduce customers to the new Phantom Series II family, which were displayed in the dining area alongside beautiful heritage cars from the 1930’s,” said Rolls Royce in a statement.
