Until now, we have only seen ABT’s take on the latest Audi RS4 within controlled environments, such as the tuner’s workshop. This car, however, was spotted in traffic and we must say, it truly stands out.

You can easily tell this isn’t something to be toyed with, whether it’s the boxy fenders, ultra-aggressive looking front bumper or its massive quad-exhaust pipe setup that give it away as being something very fast and very loud.

When stock, the Audi RS4’s 2.9-liter twin turbo V6 will put down 450 PS (444 HP) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. Back in February, ABT added an extra 60 PS and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft), taking the total output to 510 PS (503 HP) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft).

A month later, they followed that up with another mod, worth 530 PS (523 HP) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque, specifically, a 20 PS and 10 Nm (7 lb-ft) improvement over their previous RS4 project. To be fair, there’s no way of telling which level of tune we’re dealing with here as far as this car is concerned, spotted in Nurburg, Germany by ExoticCarFan.

Other mechanical and visual features specific to the RS4-R include the sport stabilizers, height adjustable suspension springs, 102 mm carbon tailpipes, tweaked grille, chunkier bumpers, side skirts, the large diffuser and custom wheels, which you can order in glossy black, matte black or mystic black. As for the interior, the German tuner will add carbon fiber, plus a bevy of ‘ABT’ or ‘RS4-R’ logos.
