As we humans continue to expand our habitats into the country and mountainsides, many animals become more desperate for space and food, with some of them finding comfort in our vehicles, as experienced by the crew over at NBC Miami.

The television station discovered several raccoons eating up the brake lines of their company cars like the Ford Transit vans and Escape SUVs. According to automotive technicians, raccoons can cause damages anywhere from $500 to $5,000 once they develop a taste for your car’s inner works.
