The Nissan Frontier enters the 2019 model year virtually unchanged, as the company made minimal revisions to it but kept the starting MSRP the same with last year’s model.
That means that the 2019 Frontier can be had from just $19,985 (including a destination and handling fee of $995) in the base, 2WD four-cylinder King Cab model that comes fitted with a five-speed manual transmission.
The revisions for the 2019 model year of Nissan’s mid-sized pickup truck are limited to the addition of a 7-inch touchscreen display in the S and SV models as standard, as well as the expanded availability of the popular Cayenne Red Metallic color option.
The Midnight Edition package also continues with the 2019 Nissan Frontier, adding black-themed features such as a gloss black grille, 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, semi-gloss black step rails, body-color front and rear bumpers, as well as black door mirrors-door handles-badging. The Midnight Edition is offered only with the automatic Crew Cab models and in a choice of three exterior colors: Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and Glacier White.
The engine range includes a four-cylinder 2.5-liter petrol engine with 152hp, which is available only with the King Cab bodystyle and 2WD, and a more powerful 4.0-liter V6 with 261hp that’s offered with either a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission.
Sales of the 2019 Nissan Frontier have officially begun at the company’s dealer network nationwide.
