Mercedes-Benz has started accepting orders for the 2019 A-Class Sedan in certain European markets, including Germany, where pricing starts at €31,916.20 ($37,019).
The base model is the A200 and it’s powered by a 1.3-liter four-cylinder petrol engine making 163 PS (161 hp / 120 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque that’s mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard, while the seven-speed dual-clutch is a €2,094.40 ($2,429) option.
Next comes the A220 4Matic Sedan, with a 2.0-liter petrol engine rated at 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque, which starts at €35,431.85 ($41,097), followed by the A250 in both FWD and AWD versions that are priced from €37,324.30 ($43,292) and €39,525.85 ($45,846), respectively. The latter two use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol unit that develops 224 PS (221 hp / 165 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, while all three models come with the 7-speed DCT.
The lineup is completed by the A180d. This is powered by the 1.5-liter dCi diesel coming from Renault that delivers 116 PS (114 hp / 85 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque to the front wheels via the seven-speed DCT gearbox. The oil burner has a starting price of 32,141.90 ($37,281).

Depending on the selected version, Mercedes-Benz offers several accessory packages, including the Style, Progressive and AMG line. Each brings something different, from the exterior upgrades to special upholstery inside, and can set you back as much as €3,510.50 ($4,072) in the case of the AMG.
The German car firm also offers Leather and Night packages, in addition to a host of driving assistance systems, including the MultiBeam LED headlights, optional head-up display and the new MBUX infotainment system. Ambience lighting, a Burmester surround sound system, adaptive suspension, Business Package, Parking Package, Multicountour Seat Package, panoramic sliding sunroof and others will bump the price even more.
Finally, there’s the A-Class Sedan Edition 1, which adds a €7,201 ($8,352) premium over the base price of the aforementioned models. It will be available for exactly one year after the market launch and adds copper highlights on the outside, 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels, LED headlights, sport seats, ambience lighting and more.
Deliveries of the all-new A-Class Sedan are scheduled to commence in early 2019.
