If you favor the looks of the latest Range Rover Sport but don’t dig the price tag that comes with it, we have some (humorously) good news, because there’s a new Zotye SUV out.

It’s called the T900, and behind it is the carmaker that has already copied the looks of the Porsche Macan, Lamborghini Urus, Audi Q3, Mazda CX-4 and probably others that we’re not aware of.

Its design is far from ‘original’, as there are a lot of similarities with the Range Rover Sport, on the outside at least. Looking at the two vehicles side by side reveals similar styling, regardless of the angle.

The Chinese carmaker that’s part of the Zotye Holding Group has looked for inspiration elsewhere when it comes to the interior, as the dashboard has a dual-screen layout that has something very Mercedes-Benz MBUX about it. The steering wheel, air vents and overall shape of the central console seem to have been inspired by the Porsche Cayenne

As you probably figured it out, the Zotye T900 is strictly limited to the Chinese car market. According to Chinese media, it’s expected to go on sale before the end of the year, probably powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine, rated at 230 hp and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, married to a dual-clutch eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Pricing should range from 160,000 to 200,000 yuan, or $23,432/€20,180 to $29,290/€25,225 at the current exchange rates. By comparison, the Range Rover Sport can be had from 1.02 million yuan ($149,381/€128,649) in the People’s Republic.
