The Acura NSX is in the same club, especially after it proved that it could pick up speed faster than a Lamborghini Aventador.
As for this particular match-up, it’s actually extremely close as the two Japanese icons feature very similar acceleration figures.
Starting with the Acura NSX, it’s powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid unit producing 581 PS (573 HP) and 686 Nm (506 lb-ft) of torque. It needs roughly 3 seconds in order to hit 60 mph (it’s been known to post even faster times, though), and if you gun for the 1/4 mile, you’ll need just over 11 seconds.
Meanwhile, with the help of a 3.8-liter V6 power unit, the Nissan GT-R NISMO will send 600 PS (591 HP) to all four wheels for a sub 3-second 0-60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration time.
