McLaren Senna Celebrates Launch Of Forza Horizon 4 By Racing Three Bikes At Goodwood

A real-life McLaren Senna took on three 450cc Motocross bikes at the Goodwood Hill Climb in order to celebrate one of the spectacular showcase events from Forza Horizon 4, out on Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, October 2nd.

While the bikes did take a more unconventional route up the hill, the Senna ended up winning the “race”, which was obviously choreographed in such a way so as to look spectacular, similar to the actual gameplay in Forza Horizon 4.

This stunt follows a rich history a collaboration between McLaren and the Forza franchise, which started with the P1 gracing the cover of Forza Motorsport 5. The Senna however is the most extreme road car ever built by McLaren, designed specifically as a track-focused vehicle for the road. As of right now, over 50 customers have already taken delivery of their Senna.

Those of us stuck playing Forza (instead of driving the actual car), can either wait until October 2nd, which is the official launch date of Forza Horizon 4, or opt for the Ultimate Edition version of the game, which is available this Friday, September 28th.

According to initial reviews, Forza Horizon 4 is by far the best installment of the franchise, offering users more than 450 cars to choose from. Furthermore, instead of having to deal with AI-controlled “Drivatars”, you will now encounter other real players in a more dynamic shared-world environment.

While the action in Forza Horizon 3 took place Down Under, Horizon 4 will take you to the UK, where you’ll also encounter changing seasons.
