The Toyota-loving crew over at FT-86 Club has got its hands on a leaked dealer document that reveals U.S. pricing for the new 2013 Scion FR-S sports coupe. If all that’s said in the document is true, then Scion will come out with official pricing tomorrow, March 22.
According to the paper, Scion will offer a single trim level of the FR-S with prices, excluding a processing and handling fee, starting from US$24,200 for the model equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox and from US$25,300 for the version fitted with the 6-speed automatic transmission.
Not that we’re directly comparing them, but the 2012 Ford Mustang with a 315HP V6 starts at US$22,200, the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro with a 323HP V6 at US$23,280 and the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe with a 274HP 2.0-liter Turbo at $24,250.
Regardless of the transmission type, the FR-S is powered by a 2.0-liter flat-four with direct-injection delivering 200-ponies.
Among other standard features listed on the document are 17-inch alloy wheels, a limited slip differential and a leather steering wheel.
More to come, so stay tuned.
