Earlier today, we showed you the first official photos of the production version of the 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer that was unveiled ahead of its world premiere in Thailand next week.
We also told you that because it is based on the new Colorado pickup truck that will be built at GM’s Missouri plant and sold in the U.S., there was a “good chance” it might be offered in the States.
Well, that won’t be happening, at least not in the near future. We contacted Chevrolet spokesperson Tom Wilkinson for more information about GM’s plans for the North American market.
This is what he told us in an email: “There are currently no plans to offer the TrailBlazer here in the U.S. That segment is pretty well covered by crossovers here.”
GM said that it would release more details about the markets where the new Trailblazer will be available later in the year.
