Manhart have stepped out of their comfort zone, which includes tuning BMW, Audi and Mercedes cars, and presented their latest project, a Porsche 911 (991.2) Turbo.

When it arrived at their headquarters, the German sports car’s 3.8-liter six-banger produced 540 PS (532 hp / 397 kW) and 710 Nm (524 lb-ft) of torque that allow it to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.0 seconds dead.

The tuner remapped the ECU and added a stainless steel exhaust system, which lifted the output to an impressive 680 PS (670 hp / 500 kW) and 870 Nm (642 lb-ft) of torque. That’s 20 PS (20 hp / 15 kW) less and a whopping 120 Nm (89 lb-ft) of torque more than the latest 911 GT2 RS.

Manhart doesn’t say whether the top speed of their 911 Turbo has increased over the stock 319 km/h (198 mph), but the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration has dropped to 2.9 seconds, one tenth slower than the GT2 RS.

The exterior has received the tuner’s signature look, namely a black finish with golden accents. Manhart’s 911 Turbo benefits from a new spoiler, too, in addition to a 30 mm (1.18 in) lowering kit and a set of aluminum wheels. Called Techart Formula IV, they measure 21 inches in size, have a five double-spoke pattern and a black finish.
