Following a world debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, Arden has further refined its AJ 23 tuning package for the Jaguar F-Type SVR.
The German aftermarket company is offering new body modifications for the British muscle coupe. For example, the aerodynamic elements on the sides of the front bumper have a different shape. That goes for their rear counterparts too, as well as the add-on side skirts.
Furthermore, at the rear, the lower end of the bumper features a new design for the diffuser. All of these parts are made from ultra-light carbon fiber. The wheels however, carry on unchanged. Meanwhile, the forged one-piece 21-inch “Sportline GT” rims feature a central cock cap which simulates the single nut found in racing wheels.
Arden say that they have reduced the unsprung mass compared to the stock F-Type SVR’s alloys, allowing for more agility and precision in corners. The front 9,5×21 inch wheels are shod with 265/30 ZR21 high-performance Continental tires, while the rear 11×21 inch wheels feature 295/25 ZR21 rubber.
The AJ 23 package also includes a sports suspension that lowers the car’s center of gravity by 30 mm (1.1 in) to improve the F-Type SVR’s handling characteristics.
Although the standard car offers plenty of power, Arden further tweaked the supercharged 5.0-liter V8. As a result, it now delivers 703 PS (693 hp) and 873 Nm (644 lb-ft) of torque. The healthy increase is made possible by the addition of forged pistons, a supercharger upgrade, a modified intake system made of carbon, and an adapted control electronics system.
While Arden doesn’t provide photos of the interior, the tuner does say that the cabin is sporty and features new door sills, a sports steering wheel wrapped in leather and Alcantara, and aluminum pedals, among other things.
