Jaguar has found a way to make more money with its 600PS (592hp) XE SV Project 8 super sedan.

Since not many mortals can afford to spend almost $190,000 to get one of only 300 cars, the automaker has found a new use for the V8-powered sedan. The XE SV Project 8 is from now on a Nürburgring Race Taxi.

That means anyone can hop in and enjoy a hot lap in the world’s quickest production sedan on the “Green Hell.” There’s only one condition, though: those who are interested must pay Jaguar €199 ($227).

While that isn’t exactly cheap, it will give people a rare opportunity to experience the thrill of riding in a two-seat XE SV Project 8 with Track Pack. That’s the same spec as the car that lapped the Nordschleife in 7 minutes 21.23 seconds in November 2017, beating many coupés and supercars in the process.

As you can imagine, a hot lap in the XE SV Project 8 won’t be a “walk in the park.” Jaguar’s professional drivers will give thrill-seekers something to talk about as the car will exceed 250 km/h (155 mph) in some areas. Furthermore, passengers will experience g-forces of up to 1.8g around the 20.8km (12.9-mile), 73-turn circuit.

The Track Pack-equipped Project 8 Race Taxi joins the 575PS (567hp) Jaguar XJR575 Race Taxi, the fastest and most powerful XJ ever. Jaguar Race Taxi experiences will be available until the track closes in mid-November, and will return for the open season in 2019. You can book your lap online here.
