It wasn’t a good weekend for some hypercar owners, as two exotic rides were involved in different accidents.
The first one was a McLaren Senna, which hit a wall in Germany after the driver probably lost control, and the second involved a Ferrari LaFerrari, on the other side of the Atlantic.
The LaFerrari was severely damaged on early Saturday morning in Beverly Hills. A witness, who filmed the aftermath of the crash, claims that the Italian hybrid hypercar was being raced at the time, and that the passenger was ejected, as she wasn’t wearing the seatbelt.

However, in the image posted by the Beverly Hills Police Department on social media, the windscreen is intact, so the report about the passenger flying through it seems bogus.
As for the damages sustained by the Ferrari’s hypercar, well, there’s a huge chunk of its front end missing, the front left side is severely beat up, and the airbags have been deployed. The reason behind the crash was “speed”, according to the local law enforcement agency, which said that “speed will put a dent into the weekend fun and the wallet”.
Rumor has it that the LaFerrari in question is owned by Shark Tank star and businessman Robert Herjavec, but at the time of writing, this hasn’t been confirmed.
