At the Paris Auto Show earlier this month, Porsche confirmed that the new 911 Speedster will make its way to production. While the road-going model has yet to be presented, a Guards Red concept has offered us a good idea of what the finished product will look like.

Like other limited-edition Porsche models, customers of the new 911 Speedster will be offered a wide scope of personlization to tweak their vehicle’s to their personal tastes. As a result, we expect to see some fairly radical paint scheme once deliveries of the sports car start next year. These renderings offer us a glimpse of what to expect.

In total, we have eight renderings to droll over, each looking absolutely fantastic and showing that the 911 Speedster looks good in pretty much any color or paint scheme imaginable.

Now we just to win the lottery…

As for the simple colored paint schemes depicted, there is orange, blue, dark green, and dark blue. All these colors, or at least ones very similar to them, will be available through Porsche’s Paint to Sample (PTS) program. Of the quartet, we’re absolutely in love with the orange car and the dark blue one.

The multi-colored liveries are a little more extreme. Perhaps the best-looking of them all is a Gulf Racing-inspired color scheme that includes orange across the front fascia and along the wheel arches, contrasted by a white circle on the doors, and light blue across the rest of the vehicle’s exterior. The livery combining black, red, and white has also left us with sweaty palms.

Among the two coolest features of the 911 Speedster concept presented to the world are its circular wing mirrors and the fuel filler cap located in the center of the hood. Sadly, a reliable source close to Porsche tells us that neither of these features will be found on the production model.
