The Lamborghini Urus is quick. Just how quick? Well, in the right conditions, it can almost keep pace with its supercar siblings, the Huracan and Aventador, in a straight-line.

Brooks from the DragTimes YouTube channel recently tested out a blue Urus to see just how accelerative it can be. The results will shock you.

With no passenger on board, the super SUV achieved a best 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of 2.93 seconds. Not only is that on pace with many supercars, it’s also more than half a second faster than Lamborghini’s official figure.

The impressive figures don’t just stop in the sprint to 60 mph. Given a little more room, the Urus ran to 100 mph (160 km/h) in 5.7 seconds and launched from 60-130 mph (96 km/h-209 km/h) in 8.8 seconds.

Powering the Urus is a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 delivering 641 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. Like the Aventador and most Huracans, the Urus is also all-wheel drive, but does weigh a substantial 2200 kg (4900 lbs).

Logic may dictate that the added weight would make it significantly slower than other Lambos, but apparently the torque of the turbocharged engine and AWD somehow seem to overcome that obstacle.
