Lexus has modestly updated the CT 200h for the 2019 model year, simplifying the lineup and pricing it from £25,150 ($29,500/€26,032) in the United Kingdom.
That’s a £1,630 ($2,077/€1,833) price hike compared to the previous entry-level version, justified by the addition of new equipment. Among its standard features, customers will find 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and reversing camera, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone climate control and infotainment system with a 7-inch display.
Lexus has dropped the SE and Luxury models from the CT 200h family, so now the next available grade is the Sport. Compared to the base flavor, it adds specific exterior and interior updates, sports-tuned suspension, rear privacy glass, Tahara upholstery, heated front seats and auto-dimming rearview mirror, from £27,150 ($34,597/€30,530).
The top-of-the-line 2019 Lexus CT 200h is the Takumi. It has an MSRP of £31,250 ($39,821/€35,141) and comes with LED headlights, a sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, Lexus Premium Navigation and a Mark Levinson sound system.
For an extra £500 ($637/€562), Lexus unlocks the Sport Pack for the most affordable version of the car, which adds black side mirror casings and grille, black 17-inch alloy wheels and Tahara interior trim in Black and Dark Rose.
The Tech Pack costs £750 ($956/€843) and is available for the CT and F Sport, bringing LED headlights with auto-levelling, washers and auto high-beam function, and Lexus Premium Navigation with 10-inch display.
The Premium Pack can also be specified to the entry-level CT and comes with rear privacy glass, smart entry, front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats and Tahara upholstery, for £1,000 ($1,274/€1,125).
Finally, the Takumi Pack, which is offered for the F Sport and costs £4,850 ($6,180/€5,454), brings LED headlights with automatic high beam, power adjustable F Sport front seats with leather upholstery, Naguri trim inlays, a sunroof, Lexus Premium Navigation and the Mark Levinson sound system.
No changes have been made to the 2019 Lexus CT 200h’s powertrain, so the 1.8-liter petrol engine, combined with the electric motor, still generates 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW).
