An image depicting the overall shape of Jeep’s all-new 2020 pickup truck was found in a document pulled from an official FCA dealer presentation a few weeks back, thus giving us a fairly decent look at one of the most eagerly anticipated models in Jeep history.
Those of you who can barely wait for the 2018 LA Auto Show to open its gates on November 28th so you can see what should be the Gladiator (not the Scrambler), might enjoy checking out these renderings courtesy of ScramblerSquad.
Regardless of what it’s called (Gladiator sounds good though, especially since it’s been used by Jeep before), the product might end up being surprisingly large and rugged, judging by that leaked presentation image.
It also depends on the suspension system and how big the wheels are, but since Jeep owners don’t tend to shy away from modding their off-roaders, we figure that something along the lines of what we see in these renders could easily happen, even if the design language may be off.
What we should all expect though is for the product to feature an “authentic Jeep design”, Jeep-worthy off-road capability, truck capability, 15 class exclusive innovations, next-gen advanced safety tech and an infotainment system that’s compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
A single cab version could also be launched some time after the truck’s official debut, although it won’t be as practical as something resembling these renderings.
