There’s no good scenario that begins with the words “but my car wasn’t here when I parked it.”

Imagine the surprise of a Porsche Cayenne driver who found their luxury SUV a few meters away from where it was supposed to be. Not only that, but the first-generation Cayenne had some serious bruises, too.

What happened, then? Well, a video filmed by a driver that was behind the truck holds the answer. The footage shows a truck that didn’t have enough room to take a turn because of the badly parked Porsche. Thus, the semi’s trailer made contact with the SUV and dragged it along for a few meters.

The truck left it in an even worse place, right in the middle of the curve. But that wasn’t the worst thing that happened to the Cayenne. The trailer left some serious dents and marks on the bodywork and even opened the Cayenne’s left rear door.

There’s no footage of the driver returning to the car, but it’s not hard to imagine their reaction. Here’s hoping next time they’ll be a bit more careful when parking. As for the truck driver, let’s hope he or she will be identified and get a fine for fleeing the scene.
