For it’s second series of cinemagraphs staring the new DS5 (see the first one here), Citroën has teamed up with British football club Arsenal and first team players, Mikel Arteta, Laurent Koscielny and club captain Robin van Persie.
And if you’re wondering about Citroën choice, the French carmaker has been the official vehicle supplier to Arsenal Football Club since 2008 while it recently confirmed a new three year extension to the partnership.
The artsy cinemagraphs, which are made by combining several images into an animated GIF file, show Arsenal’s players show off their skills by playing with a ball (no pun intended) around Citroën’s latest model.
Commenting on Citroën’s newest release, Marc Raven, Communications Director at Citroën UK said:
“Embracing innovative technology, Citroën pioneered cinemagraphs for the automotive industry and we’re delighted to be using the format to support our association with Arsenal Football Club. The players had a lot of fun in the production of these and I hope they’re as happy with the results as we are.”
