The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator will no doubt get a lot of attention from tuners after its world debut at the LA Auto Show later this month.

Most aftermarket companies will likely focus on improving the pickup’s looks and off-road capabilities with cost-effective mods. Few (if any) will take up the challenge of turning it into a 6×6 truck, though. If we were to place a bet, we’d put our money on Hennessey Performance to be the first tuner that adds another axle to the Gladiator.

Until that happens, however, we’ve got a rendering that prepares us for the inevitable. Created by Allcarnews, it’s a rough sketch of a Gladiator 6×6 variant that would bring two benefits to Jeep’s pickup truck. The Gladiator would become better off-road and would gain a longer bed in the process.

Of course, fuel economy would take a hit but we’re sure plenty of people would be willing to accept that for the sake of a more hardcore truck. Not that the standard Gladiator won’t be capable enough off-road, mind you.

According to a leaked official document, the truck will offer Command-Trac and Rock-Trac four-wheel drive systems, Dana 44 axles and locking front/rear differentials. Furthermore, a limited slip differential and 33-inch off-road tires will be available too.

As a result, the truck will be able to drive in water that’s up to 30 inches (762 mm) deep. It will also offer best-in-class towing of up to 7,650 lbs (3,470 kg) and 4×4 payload of up to 1,600 lbs (725.7 kg). Power will come from a standard 3.6-liter V6 and an optional 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 that will arrive in 2020.

By now you must have noticed that the rendering portrays a two-door extended cab Gladiator, something that hasn’t been confirmed yet by Jeep. The only body configuration we can be sure of at the moment is the four-door crew cab. We know we wouldn’t mind an extended cab model, would you?

Jeep Gladiator 6×6 ?? ______________________________________ I think i was the first to do this so far ?!! Meet my messy idea of a Gladiator 6×6 before Hennessey made one! The official Gladiator reportedly can go 30in deep in water, can tow 7,650lbs and has a 1,600lb payload capacity! ?Unde the hood will be a 3.6L V6 or the 3.0 ecodiesel V6 with either a 6 speed manual or a 8 Speed Auto ?It also will get the soft top as standard and will have an optional hard top also gaining the command track and rock track 4WD systems with the Dana 44 axels, locking diffs, sway bar disconnect and 33in off road rubber! The 4 door cab and 5 ft bed seem to be the only configuration so far ! *STAY TUNE FOR UPDATES* ________________________________________ EXTRA: Can’t wait for the insane mods! ________________________________________ – – #Wrangler #jeep #Gladiator #V8 #V6 #American #Rubicon #Pickuptruck #usa #Ram #Mopar #drive #carbon||#powerful #performance #turbocharged#supercharged #advanced#SupercarsRevamped #Supercar#HyperCar #ItsWhiteNoise #CarLifeStyle#MadWhips #CupGang #Carstagram#BlackList #AmazingCars247 An #allcarnews posted
