The Pagani Huayra is about to get a lot more airy exciting with the unveiling of the BC Roadster.
The hypercar has been spied testing again, with this latest video showing it up close for a few seconds, allowing us to hear that amazing V12 symphony.
Sourced from Mercedes-AMG, the twin-turbo 6.0-liter twelve-cylinder engine is expected to produce in excess of 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW). Directing output to the rear wheels will be a seven-speed automated-manual transmission.

In typical Pagani fashion, the Huayra BC Roadster is expected to be lighter than the BC Coupe. Thus, expect it to weigh less than 1,199 kg (2,645 lbs). After all, the non-BC Huayra Roadster is 80 kg (176 lbs) lighter than the Huayra Coupe, so that recipe will, in all likelihood, be carried over to the upcoming derivative of the Italian hypercar.
In addition to the neck-snapping power, the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC will benefit from aerodynamic upgrades, including a carbon fiber wing that appears to be almost identical to the Coupe.
Pagani continues to keep the presentation date of the Huayra BC Roadster close to its chest, but rumor has that it could arrive as early as the first quarter of 2019.
