A McLaren 650S Spider and a Porsche 911 Turbo S have been wrecked during separate crashes during the ‘Bash Road Tour’ rally in Mexico.
Limited details about the two crashes are known, but the images shared online by Wrecked Exotics Mexico provide us with a number of telling details about the incidents.
Starting off with the 650S Spider, it appears to have careened off the road at high speed and slammed through the brick wall of a building sitting parallel to the road. Based on the images available, it appears most likely that the passenger side of the British supercar took the brunt of the impact.
A quick look at the images indicates that the 650S is a complete write-off. Beyond the severe damage sustained to the front passenger quarter of the car, half of the front bumper has been torn off, one of the rear wheels has been bent, and one of the side air intakes is a crumpled mess. Damage is also present on parts of the rear fascia.
As for the 911 Turbo S wrecked during the road rally, it appears to have been rear-ended as the entire tail of the sports car is smashed. Despite featuring a strong engine that hangs out beyond the rear axle, the 911 couldn’t take the impact and was crushed.
A reliable source told us that the driver of the McLaren may not have survived the crash. The condition of the Porsche driver remains unknown.
