Even though a large and capable SUV like the Escalade should have easily been capable of driving down that embankment without any issues, this one already had its left front wheel damaged before leaving the interstate and going down that snowy hill.

We don’t know what led to the Escalade smashing its wheel (and, probably, suspension) in the first place, but we guess there must have been some type of initial impact, potent enough so as to cause serious damage to the luxury SUV’s front axle.

Here’s how it all went down in the eyes of a witness: “I was driving home for lunch and while sitting at a red light all of a sudden I saw a black Cadillac Escalade come careening down the embankment. Luckily the driver was uninjured and managed to miss everything and everyone on the way down!”

The crash took place last week on November 28th in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and it wouldn’t be overstating things to say that drivers waiting for the light to turn green at that intersection should consider themselves lucky for not having been hit by the out-of-control Caddy.

Had the light been green and the cars below already in motion, the likelihood that at least one of them could have been impacted by the Escalade would have been… well, a strong possibility. And given the girth of Caddy’s full-size SUV and its speed, we wouldn’t want to think what might have happened.
