Toyota UK has announced the range and pricing details of the new 2019 RAV4 Hybrid, which can now be ordered on dealers across the country.
UK customers will be offered just the Hybrid version of the new RAV4, with either front- or all-wheel drive.
Both models are powered by Toyota’s latest hybrid 2.5-liter powertrain, which in the case of the front-wheel drive model produce a combined 215hp and CO2 emissions from 102g/km. All-wheel drive versions come with slightly more power, at 219hp, while CO2 emissions are rated from 103g/km.
Based on the company’s latest TNGA platform, the new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid benefits from a bigger cabin and significantly improved handling, comfort and stability. All-wheel drive models come with an intelligent system, claiming to offer much greater capability, both on- and off-road, than the model it replaces.
The UK range consists of four trim levels: Icon, Design, Dynamic and Excel. The base Icon comes exclusively with front-wheel drive and a long list of standard features that includes things like 17-inch wheels, rear parking sensors, LED headlights, rear privacy glass, an eight-inch Toyota Touch2 infotainment system and the second-gen Toyota Safety Sense bundle of driver assistance systems.
The latter includes an updated Pre-Collision system with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, lane departure alert and lane trace assist, road sign assist and more.
The sportier version in the range is the Dynamic, which comes with features like black 18-inch alloy wheels, bi-tone metallic paint, projector LED headlights, black interior headlining and more.
Prices for the 2019 RAV4 Hybrid in the UK start from £29,635 OTR, with first deliveries of front-drive versions scheduled from April 2019 and all-wheel drive models following in May.
