Audi’s e-tron GT Concept Gets Rendered As A Spyder, A Coupe And A Wagon

Like Porsche, Audi also plan on dealing with Tesla’s Model S by introducing a fast, all-electric four-door model of their own, capable of hitting 62 mph (100 km/h) in around 3.5 seconds, while traveling for over 248 miles (400 km) on a single charge.

These are very impressive numbers, and one can only hope that the final product will be able to either live up to them, or perhaps surpass them altogether, once it comes out – which by the way will be in 2020.

Until then, we can’t do a lot more than just admire the e-tron GT concept for what it is right now, which is a sneak peek into the future of not just Audi, but German engineering altogether.

Of course, if you’re not satisfied with doing just that, here’s a little treat for your imagination, courtesy of designer Aksyonov Nikita, who recently rendered the four-door EV as a Spyder, a Coupe and a Wagon, the latter being more of a Shooting Brake actually.

While the Spyder and Coupe versions are more like pipe dreams at this point, a slightly more practical wagon-like e-tron GT might actually make sense sometime in the future. After all, Porsche didn’t mind doing the same for the Panamera with the Sport Turismo, which in turn set a precedent for automakers to follow, should they want to turn a sporty and luxurious four-door model into a wagon.
