With Mercedes-Benz’s parent company Daimler ready to pull the plug on its Maybach brand less than a decade after its resurrection, Xenatec’s plans to build a total of 100 units of the Maybach 57S-based Cruisero Coupe may be seriously compromised.

However, the German coachbuilder has already built some examples of its Maybach-endorsed coupe, one of which was filmed on the road by YouTube user Marchettino, and which you can watch in the video after the break.

The uber-luxurious coupe retains the four-door limousine’s 6.0-liter V12 engine with an output of 612-horsepower (603-bhp) and 1,000Nm or 737 lb-ft of torque, for a top speed of 275 km/h or 171mph.

Not that any potential owners willing to drop close to a million dollars to acquire the car will care, but Xenatex says that the Maybach 57S Coupe delivers an average fuel consumption of 16.4 lt/100km or 14.2 mpg US.
