When a low-mileage Toyota Supra Turbo with a manual transmission pops up for sale, everyone knows that someone is willing to write a really big cheque for it. What we didn’t expect is that this bright red Supra Turbo with just over 7,000 miles on the odometer was going to sell for $121,000. That’s simply insane.

The auction of this pristine Supra took place over at Bring A Trailer, where another ultra low mileage Supra Turbo was sold for $80,500 last March. The difference between the two cars? This one is fitted with the desirable six-speed Getrag V160 manual transmission, making it the Holy Grail of Supras.

According to the description, the car was first leased in 1994 in Florida, before moving to Pennsylvania in 1999, when the lessee bought the car. The car was bought by the selling dealer 20 months ago and since then it’s been stored in a climate controlled facility as part of a personal collection.

The 3.0-liter 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo straight-six engine produced 320hp and 315lb-ft of torque when new.

Sure it is as mint as Supras can get but $121,000? The only Supra that went for a higher price is one of the original Fast & Furious movie cars, sold for $185,000. Even the legendary Top Secret V12 Supra didn’t manage to break the $100k barrier, selling for a little over $80k a year ago.

Is this the world’s most expensive Toyota Supra Turbo ever to exchange hands publicly and the point where Supra prices are going to explode? It probably is.
