When it comes to the Porsche 911 Turbo, there’s no shortage of tuners that take a swipe at it and giving it more power, a body kit, or both.
In fact we’ve lost count of how many over-the-top 911 Turbos we’ve seen these past few years, courtesy of tuners such as TechArt, TopCar, Mansory, Edo Competition and many, many others.
One of the most known ones is Gemballa, who has given the 911 loads of additional power, as well as getting it to look much more aggressive.
The Gemballa GTR 8XX EvoR BiTurbo is their latest project. It is based on the 911 (991) Turbo and will make its world debut this Friday, January 11th.
During a recent Instagram post, the German tuner began teasing what this souped-up 911 can do in a straight line; and the numbers are quite impressive, to say the least.
Thanks to its 818 PS (806 HP) and monstrous 1,098 Nm (809 lb-ft) of torque, the GTR 8XX EvoR BiTurbo will be able to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.38 seconds. That’s simply astonishing, and almost as good as what you get from a Veyron Super Sport.
As you can see, the tuner claims this 911 can also hit 200 km/h (124 mph) in 7.5 seconds, 300 km/h (186 mph) in 17.4 seconds, before maxing out somewhere above 370 km/h (230 mph). Enough to show many much more expensive supercars its rear end as it out-accelerates them.
