Just prior to Christmas, rapper Post Malone took delivery of his brand new ride, a Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 that looks more like an exploration vehicle for Mars than one that can be driven on the road.
Based on the Ford F-150 Raptor, the VelociRaptor is about as wild as a road-legal, production vehicle can get. As the name implies, it features six wheels in a design that is clearly inspired by the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6.
To add a second axle at the rear, Hennessey stretches the bed of the pickup and fits a bespoke bodykit. All three of the VelociRaptor’s axles can be locked to maximize off-road performance. The Texas tuning company also installs bespoke suspension and a set of 20-inch wheels shod with off-road rubber. Despite not having expensive portal axles, it has more than enough ground clearance to easily traverse most surfaces.
Malone’s VelociRaptor 6×6 is painted white with matte black accents. The off-roader also includes light bars on the front fascia and roof. Malone was also gifted a custom mount for a .50-caliber machine gun (!) that slots neatly into the bed of the pickup.
Beyond the aforementioned alterations, Hennessey modifies the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 of each VelociRaptor to lift power to 602 hp and 622 lb-ft (843 Nm) of torque. Powertrain upgrades include modified turbo wastegates, a new intake, intercooler, exhaust, and a tuned ECU.
