The countdown to the 2011 Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas is heating up with only a few days left before the big event kicks off on Tuesday, November 1.
Mazda will be there with at least two concept models including the MX-5 Spyder and the Mazda2 Turbo.
The Japanese automaker has released very few details on the two cars but said the MX-5 Spyder sports a “new, more aggressive look” and that the Mazda2 Turbo is “one of our most powerful turbocharged engines in our lightest platform”.
The most interesting of the two models is without doubt the racy-looking MX-5 Spyder that gets a revised lower front end along with an aero kit, larger alloy wheels, a different top that stretches out to the back and a lowered suspension.
