The Grand Tour dropped the trailer for the fourth episode of the season, which will include plenty of European pickup truck action, complete with the classic series of challenges, and the fire-breathing Jaguar XE Project 8.
Jeremy, James and Richard challenge themselves in finding the best pickup truck outside the American and Japanese establishment, with the VW Amarok, the Ford Ranger and the Mercedes X-Class being the stars of the show.
The three pickup trucks will be tested with the trio’s standard procedure that involves everyday scenarios that most truck drivers are facing, including toppling a dictator, descending into civil war and of course blowing up a helicopter. Plenty of needless gunfire is also a crucial part of finding the one and only winner.
James May also takes down Clarkson’s giant head and the three pickup trucks get also to race each other in what looks like a field.
The Grand Tour’s new episode follows the double Colombia special, where the three presenters were tasked with the mission of getting high-quality photos of interesting animals. A Jeep Wrangler, a Chevrolet Silverado and a tiny Fiat Panda 4×4 were picked as the most suitable cars for the job.
The fourth episode of The Grand Tour’s third season will air on February 1, on Amazon Prime Video.
