One could argue that if there’s any supercar that doesn’t need any more power in order to put down impressive acceleration times, it’s the McLaren 720S.

Even when stock, it’s one of the quickest cars in the world, both over a 1/4 mile, as well as once it gets up to speed thanks to its otherworldly aerodynamic properties. In fact, you need a hypercar just to keep up with it, as it’s been proven time and time again.

Still, there are those who feel that the 720S’ twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine could make use of even more power than the 710 HP (720 PS) and 568 lb-ft (769 Nm) it already produces.

This one for example, tuned by Wheels Boutique, puts down a staggering 943 HP to the wheels thanks to a Pure turbocharger upgrade, DME tune and custom Velocity exhaust. While we don’t have an exact figure for HP at the crank, we can easily guesstimate around 1,100 HP.

Thanks to the VBOX data, we know that in a straight line, this 720S managed to rocket from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 2.04 seconds. It then hit 100 mph (160 km/h) in 4.08 seconds, went from 60 to 130 mph (96-209 km/h) in 4.21 seconds, from 100 to 150 mph (160-241 km/h) in 4.12 seconds and covered the 1/4 mile in just 9.18 seconds at 156.64 mph (252 km/h).

In case you haven’t figured it out, this tuned 720S would absolutely blow the doors off a stock model, which is darn near impossible to do.
