Ferrari F430 Spider In Classic Marrone 1971 Paint Job Is Just Gorgeous

Brown isn’t the usual color of choice when it comes to Ferraris, or any other modern cars for that matter, but this shade suits this particular F430 Spider very nicely indeed.

This is thought to be the only one finished in Marrone 1971, the paint’s name that was also used in classics such as the Dino, Daytona and 365, and it sports a and beige leather interior with black Daytona-style inserts and carbon fiber trim.

Made in 2008 and shipped to New Mexico, it has less than 3,700 miles (5,955 km) on the clock, all put on by a single owner who’s now looking to part ways with it. RMSothebys will auction it off at Amelia Island on March 8-9, estimating that it will attract a collector who’ll spend between $200,000 and $250,000 on it. Described as “beautifully presented”, the F430 Spider will be sold with the original tool kit and the right paperwork.

Having the six-speed manual transmission instead of the electrohydraulic semi-auto would have made it even more desirable. Nonetheless, the new owner will still get to enjoy that great 4.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 and its 483 horsepower (490 PS / 360 kW) and 343 pound-feet (465 Nm) of torque which enable it to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds and max out at 193 mph (311 km/h).
